1) Q: Are gate motors all the same?
A: No not all gate motors are the same there are many different types around for all different sizes and weights of gate as well as those that are only made for use on swing gates. So it is always best to have a professional company install your gate motor so that you do not encounter any problems after installation has been completed.

2) Q: Can you convert a normal opening gate to one that works on a motor?
A: Yes you can and this can be done rather simply but should be carried out by a professional Gate Installation company whose expertise will be needed on these kinds of conversions.

3) Q: Can you repair an electric gate motor yourself?
A: The simple answer is no as should this be attempted by unqualified persons you will run the risk of cause more damage to the motor than before and any warranty’s still valid on the motor will then become null en void which will result in you having to spend more money than you intended to.

4) Q: Is it possible for me to have an anti-theft bracket installed so prevent my gate motor from being stolen?
A: Yes it is always a good idea to have these brackets installed on your gate motor to dissuade anyone from attempting to steal the motor or even try and damage it so that they can gain access to your property.
